This way the noodles wont get crowded and will have enough space in the tray. Tip: Use half a packet on Hakka Noodles for one round of baking. You can bake noodles and store in airtight container for later use. As you can see in the picture if some part of noodles is not baked properly, remove rest and just keep the white part in the over for more couple of mins or until done. Bake for around 15 mins or until done(they are golden brown in color). Spray oil over it and spread noodles in such a way that it lies flat. Drain Noodles and apply oil so that they don’t stick to each other. Add noodles, little salt and tblspn oil to it. Chilliflakes: 1 1/2 tblspn ( you can increase or decrease quantity as per your taste)īring Water to boil in a pan. Cabbage, French Beans, Onions, Bell Pepper,Carrots,Scallions: Chopped as shown in pic should be approximately 2 1/2 Cups(altogether).Here is my version of American Chosuey which I call as ‘Spicy American Chopsuey’ While making this dish it clicked to me instead of adding hot sauce later I can make it sweet and spicy while cooking. I would add a lot of hot sauce to the regular chopsuey and make it sweet n spicy for my palate. The Chopsuey they served was one of the yummiest. While returning back from college every alternate day me and my friend would stop by at a local restaurant( I believe it is called Aditi) near Andheri Stn, Mumbai. While having the chopsuey my husband commented “It tastes same like fried noodles”.Īmerican Chopsuey reminds me of my College Days. I baked noodles instead of frying them and the result was super crunchy Noodles. I always had the guilt of having fried Noodles in Chopsuey. I like to make it sweet spicy and tangy at the same time. However many people don’t like it as it is on a sweeter side for an entree. One of my favorite when it comes to Chinese Cuisine.
